Wedding/Dinner Sets
Custom made dishes for the whole family.
Kate and Chris
Kate and Chris wanted each pieace in this place setting to feel unique but tied together to make a set. The green, yellow, and creamy off-white went perfect in their kitchen. The different styles of dinner plates were chosen to add a little flare to the set. Solid color bowls and mugs tone down the different colored plates. Cone 10 fired in a gas kiln.

Christa and Caleb
Christa and Caleb's set is very similar to Ross and Emily's set in terms of style and overall feel, but they wanted to go with the standard dinner plate, salad plate, and soup bowl. Adding to the set is a small juice cup, tumbler, and mug. Christa and Caleb also added a butter dish, casserole, serving bowl, pitcher, and serving platter that rounded out a complete serving dinner set.
Ross and Emily
A classic white gloss with a rough complement. These dishes have the best of both worlds. The white gloss is a blank canvas to let your food take the show. The raw exterior with a warm glow reminds the viewer where this place setting came from - a fire buring to 2300 degrees. The balance is striking and begs you to touch the surface. Fired to cone 10 in a gas reduction kiln.
Jonathan and Meagan
Jonathan and Meagan liked a more traditional look to their set. A large 12" dinner plate came with a 9" salad plate and a shallow pasta bowl. We also decided on several dishes to accompany the set like, casseroles, serving trays, utensil holder, spoon rest, and serving bowls of various sizes. The images pictured here are in the "leather-hard" stage and have not yet been fired.
Craig and Vanessa
Craig and Vanessa like the raw and rustic feel of my pottery. Together we came up with 3 simple forms that complement each other well. Cone 10 fired in a gas kiln.
Jonathan and Katie
A special glaze combination with a nice warm and cool complement. These dishes show off the beautiful colors of the rutile glaze. The marbled blue stands out against the matte brown glaze on the dinner plate and bottom accent on the bowls. Both glazes are unique beacuse they each offer so much variation. Each day the user can select which variation suits them best for the day. Each piece is truly unique and wonderful to see! Fired to cone 10 in a gas reducation kiln.
